Fauji Niwas is designed from the ground up to respect the privacy of India's Armed Forces. Unlike traditional housing portals, we do not monitor your search activity, sell user data, or use commercial ad tracking SDKs.
📊 Data We Collect & How We Use It
- Phone Number (OTP Verification): Used solely to authenticate your account and ensure only verified personnel can list properties or interact.
- Listings Data: Property descriptions, prices, photos, and approximate coordinates. Photos are auto-compressed client-side to strip metadata like camera model and exact GPS location to protect operational security.
- E2EE Chats: Peer-to-peer chats are encrypted on your device using Web Crypto API. We do not store cleartext chat histories on our central database.
- Local Vault Documents (ECHS): Health card vaults and verification proofs are encrypted locally on your browser with AES-256 and stored in IndexedDB. They are not sent to our cloud.
🇮🇳 DPDP Act 2023 Compliance
Fauji Niwas operates in full compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. You retain full ownership of your data, including the right to delete your listings, close your account, and purge all stored telemetry at any time.
🔐 Information Security Boundaries
We use Firebase Auth and Firebase Security Rules to isolate user data. App Check attestation blockades are deployed to protect against data scraping bots and unauthorized API requests.
